The National Youth Wing in the UK has existed in some form for over two decades. In the last ten years a structure has been
developed by the UKCC to help support and develop the spiritual and personal growth of young adults in the UK. Summarised
below is brief overview of the structure of NYCC as it is at the moment and activities currently being carried out:
1) National Youth Coordinating Committee comprises of Regional Youth coordinators, SSLTP coordinator, National Youth
Choir coordinator and several other extension members who are given responsibility for specific projects. The NYCC is
responsible for delivering all youth programmes in the UK. Sitting under the UK council, the NYCC works along with all
the other wings of the organisation. The National Youth Coordinator as a representative of the NYCC sits on the UK Council.
2) Regional Youth Coordinating Committee is made up of Centre Youth Coordinators from the region. The Regional Youth
Coordinator leads the regional youth team, helping to organise youth activities in the local area, helping to develop centre
youth coordinators, working with other wings in the region through the Regional Coordinating Committee (the RYC is also
part of the Regional Coordinating Committee).
3) Centre Youth coordinators are responsible for encouraging and motivating youth in their centres. They work with the
centre committee to help organise centre activities, and help develop young adults. Centre youth are all young adults from 18 – 35.
